Comments March 22, 2005, upon the signing of the meth bill:

"This is a very good and strong bill -- the strongest and smartest in the country," Miller said.

"The new law should be a significant factor in reducing meth labs. That's crucial, because meth labs pose a very serious threat to children and others, and labs are an enormous drain siphoning off law enforcement resources we need for other public safety duties," he said.
